ABOUT COMMACK DAY
Celebrating Our Community!

Our Mission
The mission of Commack Day is to unite the members of the Commack community including business owners, alumni, families, and more to enjoy a day celebrating this great place that we call our home!

Community
The community of Commack is very near and dear to us for various reasons. Whether we attended Commack Highschool or own a business on Commack Road, we consider this beautiful town our home. We hope that Commack Day will increase this sense of community and forge new relationships between all of the members of the Commack community.

Philanthropy
Supporting community efforts is important to us and we have found that Commack Day is giving us the opportunity to contribute to organizations important to the Commack community.

About Commack Day
Bringing the Community Together — One Celebration at a Time
Commack Day was created with one mission in mind: to celebrate the spirit of our town by bringing together families, friends, local businesses, and organizations for a day filled with connection, entertainment, and purpose.
Now entering its 7th year, Commack Day has grown into one of the most anticipated events in the area. What started as a grassroots community celebration has evolved into a powerful platform for local unity, support, and charitable giving.
Why We Celebrate
Commack Day is more than just a festival — it’s a reflection of who we are as a community: vibrant, supportive, and full of heart.
Each year, we feature:
-
A wide range of local vendors and small businesses
-
Live entertainment, including bands and DJs
-
Family-friendly games, food trucks, and activities for all ages
-
A dedicated Kids Zone with inflatables and interactive fun
But most importantly, we give back.
Giving Back with Purpose
Each year, Commack Day chooses a new 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization to support — ensuring that every event contributes to a meaningful cause in our community or beyond. Past recipients have included the Commack Fire Department, Commack Volunteer Ambulance Corps, and the Eric Spinato Foundation.
For 2026, we are proud to support the TBD
Our Promise
We are committed to growing this event year after year, expanding our impact, and continuing to highlight the incredible people and organizations that make Commack such a special place to call home.
Whether you attend as a guest, participate as a vendor, volunteer your time, or sponsor the event — you’re helping create something bigger than just a fun day out. You’re helping us build a stronger, more connected community.
We invite you to be a part of it.

Why We Started Commack Day
As passionate members of the Commack community, we wanted to find a way to unite businesses, families, alumni, and community members alike for a day of fun celebrating Commack. This is why we are hosting the 6th Annual Commack Day on October 6th at the Suffolk JCC! This will be a day filled with food, drinks, live music, and more bringing all of us together to celebrate this community we call home. We hope to see you there!
One day we were sitting at lunch discussing how much the community has grown but has still managed to remain close-knit. We were reminiscing about our days at Commack High School and talking about the wide variety of businesses and people that make the community great. It got us thinking about how much we truly cherish this community.
With both of us being passionate community members, we knew we wanted to find a way to unite Commack for a day that honors the businesses and people of the town.
This is why we decided to hold Commack Day. We know many other community members feel the same way we do and share this love and respect for Commack, which is why we think it's time to bring everyone together to celebrate our hometown.
